The faith we hold and the faith we live
Kingdom Stars Assembly is a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), an evangelical church whose mission is holiness and heaven for all. We hold to the historic Christian faith, drawn from the pages of the Bible and lived out in ordinary, everyday life.
These are the truths that shape our worship, our teaching, and our life together. They are more than words on a page. They are the foundation on which we are raising Kingdom Stars.
What We Believe
The core of our faith, in plain words
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our final authority for faith and daily life. Scripture is the picture of your future, and everything we teach flows from it.
One God in Three Persons
We believe in one eternal God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is perfect in love, holiness, and power.
Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works. It is freely given to all who believe.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in, empowers, and gifts every believer. He comforts us, guides us, and equips us to live holy lives and serve God with power.
The Church and Water Baptism
We believe the Church is the family of God, called to worship, share life, and serve together. Following Christ's example, we practise water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith.
Holiness of Life
In line with the mission of the RCCG, we pursue holiness: making it to heaven and helping others get there too. We believe God calls every believer to a changed, Christ-honouring life.
The Great Commission
We believe every follower of Jesus is sent to share the good news and make disciples of all nations. That work starts at home, in Guelph, and reaches across the world.
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return in glory. We live in that hope, ready and watchful, longing for the day when every knee will bow and He makes all things new.
Our RCCG Family
Holiness, and heaven for all
As a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, we share the mission of our worldwide family: to make it to heaven, to take as many people with us as we can, and to have a member of the RCCG in every family of all nations. Holiness of life and the salvation of souls sit at the very centre of who we are.
